New & Need Help with Remote Lock Assembly for Trunk!!!

Hi everyone! I'm VERY new here.. and only got here b/c I had a major problem.. well not too major, but it's a pain in the butt for me.

Anyway, the remote lock assembly in the trunk of my car seems to have stopped working. I took it apart and it looks like either the motor's dead or there's a bad connection somewhere? Anyone have ideas?

good idea. :D

I looked at the original manufacturer diagrams.. and it looks like that whole assembly is WAY over-engineered. Might not even need it.. thoughts?
