New member to C.I.,Starting/Running problems with Integra

Let me take the time to say Hello Club Integra!I am new here, and have recently been looking elsewhere for help with my 91 integra Ls.I have been on honda-tech and wichitaracing.com for some time now,and havent been able to get very much information on what my problem could be.



First off,this is a fresh build,and i havent driven it since i finished.
I will include a video to show what it does right now,but first a little information on the car..

91 Integra
B18a1 motor

Polished head
Brand new B18b cams
Brand new Jdm racing Piston rings
Brand new racing Rod bearings
Brand new b18b valves
Brand new valvesprings/retainers/keepers
Brand new valve seals
Brand new metal head gasket
Brand new Ignition coil
Brand new Ignition control module
Brand new Distributor
Brand new battery
Brand new Injector seals
valve cover ground relocated

This was a build i did in the driveway of my house.I have limited testing tools,so please bear with my on this one as i only get to work on it when i get a chance to go to my dad's(where it is currently located.)anything i can do,i will try,but please understand that i do not have things such as pressure gauges,hei testers etc,but i do have a mutlimeter,and there is always something else you can do to test something.This is not the first time i have built a motor,but the first time that i will be driving one that i have built myself,which is why it means a lot to me.

***The problem:***
It takes a little persuasion to get the car to to start.I must hold the throttle wide open while cranking,then it will run very poorly and i can let off the key and keep holding the throttle wide open while it runs very gluggish and rough.Then while it is running like that,i can have my dad move the distributor towards the firewall and it will shoot to life,but i have to keep on the gas or it will just die out.no stall,just rpms go down until they hit 0 and it is off..there is no idling at all.i can rev the motor,and it really doesnt sound too bad while its running,but it just will not idle at all.



The only codes are:
(1)02 sensor
(14)iacv, because i unplugged it and ran the motor.OR It could have possibly been (7) for tps,i will confirm when i get the chance

*Main relay clicks on,then off.fuel pump primes as it should.
*I have snappy white spark at the plugs when i lay them on my valve cover and crank it.i also took a multimeter to it to make sure it had proper voltage to the coil,to the dizzy,and the icm.
*I have fuel and it seems to have decent pressure.It will spray everywhere when i loosen fuel lines,pressure regulater,fuel filter lines and it sprays out of the injectors.
*ive confirmed my timing is dead on SO many times,and i even did it again with the help of my dad(he thought it was my timing as well) and it is DEAD ON and the dizzy rotor points to cyl #1 when at tdc..
*Firing order is correct.1342
*I have completely removed and cleaned the iacv
*I have done a valve adjustment.that,along with the injector seals are what recently got it "running"
*All grounds are connected and secured.
*Before the build,everything was color coded with zipties,and it appears that everything is correctly installed back into place.
*I have NOT done a tuneup(plugs,wires,etc.i know for sure they are worn.) other than a royal purple oil change(twice lol) and i feel really stupid for not doing so,but it will be done tomorrow and i will reply with updates.

i can smell gas when trying to crank,sometimes i can smell it like crazy...

The problem does not change whether the motor is cold or warmed up..






If you would like to know the whole story of the car:
The story is(summed up),i bought this car used,originally for $1000(i gave them a little s*** when the car crapped out,so i ended up getting it for $800!).The guy that owned it before me was a really bad mechanic..The car smoked clouds of blue when i got on it,and after a couple weeks it smoked all the time(bad oil rings)It also had a stripped hole in the block to the starter..fixed.and also was missing 1 rocker arm for EACH CYL!can you believe it?and it ran perfectly fine.
we were doing a "compression test" and my brother pulled one of the spark plug wires while the car was running.Car shut off and wouldnt start back up.no spark and HUGE backfire(?i know right?)(turned out to be cas(crank angle sensor) in dizzy.)at the time i figured low compression..so i ripped the motor apart and built it.I found out about the dizzy problem long after the build was finished.Then i had tiny pops and backfires(first it was a missing pin in one of the cams causing only the cam gear to spin,fixed,then turned out to be the valve lash).Then it started to run but smoked from the rail and sprayed gas everywhere(turned out to be bad injector seals)...now on to the video,which is of what it is doing as of now.

here is the video.keep in mind that i am holding the throttle wide open while cranking and in gluggy mode,and when it's running better i have to keep the gas on it to keep it from dying.youll know when my dad moves the distributor because it will shoot to life.at the end my dad is saying to let it idle and then i let off the gas and that's why i say "that's it,it just dies"..sorry the video sucks,and the sound is terrible..i filmed with my cell phone:/



Thank you for taking the time to read this,and i hope someone can lead me in the right direction..im almost forced to sell it for a price that i really couldnt give less of a s*** about,and that would really bum me out... i really hope the pros can step in on this one.please let me know what you guys think,thanks!

I smelled gas inside the head when i removed the valve cover yesterday.Im glad i remembered,because i know that's gotta be an important piece of information there..

Ok well ive got a compression tester and a feeler gauge..
Im gonna see what's going on with it tomorrow..

I got new spark plugs and it seems to sound a LITTLE better,but no change basically.
