Hey what's up Club Integra, I wanna introduce myself, hope to learn more about cars and lastly have a great time with everyone here. This is my first time joining a forum for cars and also buying my very own first car which is a 1998 Acura Integra LS. I don't know much about cars or mine for that matter but I'm learning along the way. Hopefully you guys and this forum can help me with that! I'm from Texas and I've always wanted an Integra. Too bad it isn't a GSR, but nonetheless I couldn't pass up the deal I got for my LS. Great condition as well. Also this is my first time driving a 5-Speed and I got the hang of it in about 20-30 minutes with the help of a friend. It's more enjoyable than a automatic, very fun to drive!

Well that was my introduction, didn't really know what to do but wing it. Haha.
I do have alot of questions about my Integra, so hopefully anyone could help me out where to post or even answer me on here. Thanks!

Hey, first off welcome to the site and congrats on your purchase. It's a good feeling getting your first car.

Just to help you out and save you from future flaming (basically negative posts) do a quick search for any questions you may have before asking them. Between this site, team-integra, and Honda-Tech you can find just about anything. If searching doesn't help you out feel free to ask your questions :thumbs up

Good luck with your car and journey a long the way!

Thanks guys! Yeah before I've registered I looked around on this forum occasionally and saw a few people get at for not using the "search engine". Haha, so I will definitely use it. I am from Fort Worth too! :)
Like anybody else, I'm sure before even putting a cent into their car they're gonna have questions and I have a few. I've looked around the forums and couldn't quite get the answer I wanted. Mainly, before I even put $$$ into this car I don't quite know about brands/parts, how well and which is the best. So when I look for parts I'm completely dumbfounded and I definitely don't want to be giving my money for parts that aren't good. I guess you can say I'm nervous before putting anything on my car and not wanting to damage anything. It's dark outside right now, but I'll be sure to post a pic of my Integra tomorrow!

After spending time in the community and doing research you'll get an idea of what parts are good or not just from people talking about them. You could also look at people's build threads to get an idea of what parts they used.

In for pics!

Oh and to help you out and save you from the almost useless search feature check out the thread I started about searching. It'll make things easier for you.
