Hey guys, I'm John. I'm 22yrs old, an aircraft mechanic, and the proud owner of a 2000 Integra Type R in Flamenco Black. She has just under 94k on the chassis, and a whopping 53k on the engine. I'm the 4th owner, but the third owner only had her for about 3 months before he had to sell her due to his wife's second pregnancy.

Pictures are on this website, but I don't think I can copy them from the site. There's also two videos on the site.

Mods are as follows:

-Cheapo AutoZone short ram intake (soon to be replaced with an Injen RD CAI when it gets here).
-Old school DC 4-2-1 header (will be replaced eventually with a Hy-Tech tri-y).
-Thermal R&D 2.5" exhaust.
-Skuk2 lowering springs (to be replaced with something as soon as I get my tax return).

Plans are as follows, but not in any particular order:

-Hondata s300.
-Hy-Tech tri-y.
-Either Buddy Club RSD or KSport Kontrol Pro (depending on how much I have to play with).
-Mugen bushings all around.
-Clutchmasters FX200 clutch.
-Russell braided stainless clutch line.
-PowerSlot cryo rotors.
-Hawk HPS pads.
-Goodridge G-Stop braided stainless lines.
-Motul RBF600 brake fluid.
-New front bumper.
-New front lip.
-6000k HIDs.
-Respray the whole car Flamenco Black.

Enjoy! I should be going out for a pictures run sometime in the next few weeks. I'll start a thread in the applicable forum.

Has she been in a wreck??? No front lip, and from the vid I saw a type r cluster and five lug but noticed no carbon fiber trim, you sure it's not just a GSR converted to type r, kinda looks like it. Welcome though, post up pics of engine, interior, etc.
Edit: never mind saw the carbon fiber trim. Everything looks legit. Welcome.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

She was wrecked slightly back in mid '03, but the title is clean and clear still.

Previous owner wasn't used to driving a lowered car so he had some curbage going on in parking lots and such. That being said, I'm going to keep her lipless until I get coilovers and raise her up an inch or so. Not to mention, the roads are shit where I'm at in Denton. Hell I scrae that bumper going in and out of certain parking lots no matter how slow or what angle I hit the entrance.

I'm not gonig JDM front. I don't really like the JDM front, and I couldn't bring myself to cut up a perfectly good R frame.

I plan on road racing the car. The reason she was designed in the first place back in JDMland.

And yeah, she's a legitimate R. No tan in the interior. The A pillar is grey. And all the simulated carbon fiber is where it should be.

Unfortunately, she's my DD right now. But I hope to find either a GSR or a B-swapped hatch to have as a daily once I finish paying off the R.

BTW, her name is "Lucky," hence my screen name. She's my third Integra, but my first dose of VTEC yumminess.

So it's been a few weeks since I was here. I'm about to post a build/progress thread with details as to the insanity of what's been going on this past couple of weeks.

Welcome John, nice to see a R owner wanting to keep it USDM. USDM fronts are much nicer than the JDM imo, especially when that USDM front is on a R.

Besides the whole reason the JDM front exists is because Honda thought the round light design was too extreme for the Japanese market so they dulled it down and make it look just like the accord coupes at the time. Would you rather have a dull front or one so radical Japan couldnt take it (That is saying something right there, LOL)?
