Wassup, I'm new here, I'm 16, I'm VA, and first and foremost I'M NOT A RICER! I like my cars to be good looking and fast but not all the body cuts and fins and underglow and all that fast & furious s***. I'm about to get either a GSR Integra or the slower one i forgot the real name for it but hopefully I can get a GSR for fairly cheap and then after I get it I want to make it a little better looking and a little faster but not to fast to soon I know my limitations when it comes to speed and power. First I want to do a simply intake I guess then suspension and wheels but I want to get turbo but run a really really low boost until I'm sure I can handle it because I don't want to get exhaust before turbo so it won't be so loud (and the cops around here are really tight on imports so if your making to much noise they'll stop you.:evil:) So what mods do you guys recommend to do first that are cheap and helpful for starting off?

tune up/general maintenance
security
I/H/E
suspension

Some will argue the order, but most would agree on these as good 1st steps

:nopics:

I = Intake
H = Header
E = Exhaust

Personally, I would start with the suspension before working on making more power.

O ok thanks. And I've heard about the suspension first thing but I've yet to see somebody do suspension before they add power mods to their car. I understand why you would do the suspension first then power mods.
but how is this thread worthless without pics? I said i'm about/might get a integra

there doesnt seem to be any point in boosting the car if your going to do a few pounds. Just get some itr/ctr cams and an intake manifold and call it good after you get the bolt ons
and an apexi world sport2 exhaust is just as quiet as stock if thats what your looking for

buy the car first.
:lol:
But I think you should do your research first; and then make a decision on what you want to do.

IMHO I think you should buy an intake as your first modification. It won't make more than 5hp(if that) but your brain will tell you it's making 123456789 horsepower:D Plus, you'll enjoy the induction sound.

But then again, if your plan is to turbocharge, buying an intake would be a waste of money.

Either way, get a GSR, you will never regret it.

Haha what part of Va?

If anything i would get a CAI for a first mod, and a GSR would make you a very happy guy
