Hello,
My names Jake. Located in Elgin, IL. I just bought a 1997 Integra LS. In the past I have owned Jeeps, Pontiacs, and Chevys and have been part of many other fourms. I don't know much about the integra in which I wish to learn. I will soon be looking into a exhaust and some new wheels and tires to start. There were a few body repairs done by the previous owner(a friends dad). Recently the water pump and timing belt, Plugs, wires and tires were just all replaced. The PO installed a head unit, replaced all the speakers, put in 8000K HIDS, and a intake. So all in all the car is stock.

Welcome man! You'll want to get an alarm for it before anything. I'm sure you're not use to that with the other vehicles you had! These cars get stolen fast.

Welcome.

Car looks decent minus those Bomz seats. I'd find some OEM or Recaro seats if you can find them for cheap and put them in. But do take them out because they're eGay seats, meaning not DOT approved. Don't want another Integra owner to get screwed up in a wreck because of some crappy seats.

I'd just make them into a gaming chair and one into a computer chair with the Corbeau bases lol.

Any questions, feel free to post em up.

I will look into a alarm Thanks!
I had a friend tell me to put in a kill switch so the car can not be started?

recaro seats arent dot approved either
Actually no after market seat is DOT approved. Not Sparco, Spoon, NRG, BRIDE etc. They are not OEM in America where the DOT is. Bucket seats are also not DOT approved, they use something else called FIA approval. But they are ONLY FIA approved if you do a roll bar and a harness.

the department of transportation (DOT) is a US thing. Thats why Motorex was supposed to put in a bar on the skylines; because the DOT wanted that. Recaro will make things to their standards, but the SRD seat is in no way on the same level as say the Recaro HANS.

Well I learned something new then. Still relatively new to the Honda/aftermarket stuff, but I'm trying to catch up.

I'm done thread jacking now.
