I used to be on ClubCivic a bit, and as of yesterday I decided to switch over to the better side of life, trade my Civic, and get myself an Integra.
I went from a 95 Civic DX coupe (with the D16Z6 from the EX) to a 91 Integra LS Special Edition. I'm already enjoying driving the Integra alot more than my Civic, of course, right? The car is in pretty good condition, but needs some fresh paint, as well as new wheels. The car is almost totally stock, except for the seats we put in it yesterday and the windshield we put on it the night before. The motor is in great condition, was well maintained, and even had the oil changed at the Mercedes Benz dealership by a previous owner.
The list of mods I've officially decided on:
Headers, exhaust, intake, paint (white), wheels, suspension, JDM lip, possibly black corner lights
I'm not totally sure what I'm going to do with the motor. I know I don't want to go through the trouble of doing a turbo, and I don't want to do too much, as this is my DD, so I'd like to keep gas mileage at least decent, if not good. It's currently an AT, and I'll eventually be swapping it to an MT, but I was going to wait until I built the motor as much as I was going to, so I could decide on a transmission to put on it (it has the stock B18a1 in it.)
Any ideas or thoughts? I'll put pictures up tonight after I paint the new hood with some semi-gloss black, since the current one looks like a sumo wrestler took a running dive at it.
As for wheels, I'm thinking about getting a set of OEM fat fives off ebay for my late fall/winter/early spring wheels, and getting a set of these for my late spring/summer/early fall wheels:
