New headlamps

so i have today off work. im bored as hell and i notice that silverstars are $20 at pepboys with a coupon and rebate. how can i possibly resist? well ive got the new bulbs in. unfourtunately i didnt plan on this so i didnt get any before pics...seeing as its daytime right now, i also dont have any after pics. looking at the light in the light though haha it just looks a lot brighter. ill take some pics tonight and have em up. what do you all think of these bulbs?

Silverstars are probably the best headlights for any car. I installed them on my girls car and I was surprise on how bright they are. You probably won't notice until on the road and you see them behind you.

Such a great investment. :thumbs up

when i was in the store i also saw another type, it said 9006XS ST/2 does anyone know what the XS means? the one that fits is 9006 the ST just stands for silverstar and 2 means there are 2 bulbs in the package. i asked the clerk and all he said is oh it might not fit your car. i want silverstar high beams too and i was just wonderin what the difference was

Yeah I got Silverstars on my low beams got them on a trade for some cheap blue bulbs I had laying around, like them a lot they're pure white no hint of yellow at all

SILVERSTARS are great but PIAA's are better but the they cost HELLA more!!! lol I made a funny!

Damn! I bought Silverstars yesterday. I wish I would have known they were on sale there. They're $40 normally. But they are great lights!

they will blow quick though ... my boy had em on his 95 civic ... right side blew 3 months so he put the stock bulb back in that side ... later the left blew

the highbeams blew quick...dunno i got bad experience wit SilverStar bulbs...ill just ante up for rea; HIDs..

I don't really need HID's. I live in a city of 4 million people. If I have trouble seeing in Houston then I shouldn't be driving anyway. It's bright enough to drive w/o headlights all the time. Not that I would though! :shock:
