Ok im new here and i have a electrical problem ....... well first off i have a 96 gsr it has a igntion problem but im not sure what it is now, i just got a ignition switch from a privated seller the old one i had would crank but u had to keep the key in a certain position to keep it on, i bought this new one and now the car wont even turn on does anyone have any ideas what it could be ???

first off welcome. second, you should post this in the third gen section. you would get a lot more help in that section. check all of your connections. are you sure its the right thing?

definately the ignition switch, get a brand new one fromparts dept. at the dealership.
