so ive noticed that my car has been bogging lately, and one day while i was driving it started to bogg really bad and smelled like burnt metal. i looked back and it shot out a big cloud of white smoke, now when ever i rev it up and get it to operating temp, it smells really bad by the timing belt. i have the belt exposed cause of my cam gears so i know its not the belt. no oil or water leaks. did i fudge up my motor? oh yeah, 96 integra gsr with all bolt ons and a jackson racing supercharger.

Check around where the head and block come together, is it leaking coolant? In that case, it may be your headgasket. A broken/cracked headgasket could cause bogging, and would explain the white smoke.

im pretty sure its not leaking water. but ill double check..but if the head gasket was blown i should be able to here a air leak(popping) by the head right?

Not sure if you'd be able to hear it..but if you take a mild soap and water solution and spray it sparingly around the head/block seal, it will bubble at the leak, if there is a leak. At least this will tell you if and where the leak is.

change your oil... watch what comes out, if looks like a milkshake your headgasket is gone
