well eventho its not a teggy im going to ask anyways, i have a 93 civic hatch that has frame damage from the front to the passenger door, i already have to weld a new front clip and was thinking..

Is it safe to basically weld a newer engine bay on the car??
like just cutting to the fire wall and not messing with the fire wall

yeah, people even go beyond the firewall. Its the diy way to do RHD conversions. I would take it to someone who knows what they are doing though.

Yeah, as long as the welder knows what he is doing you'll be ok. Sheet metal and unibody frames are hard to weld, so be careful. Try to stick to the OEM weld points. Youll need to drill out the old spot welds and such if you want to do it the correct way.

the fender doesnt even sit right, i mean the hood lays on it without the hood being all the way down and latched
