hi all, got a 97 GSR with type r pistons, full mugen exhaust, cf intake, apex'i vafc2.i bought it just recently and it had all that on it and then some too. i'm not sure what the gear ratios are either but i'm pretty sure the geats aren't stock either




unsure of what it could do i put it on the dyno for some tuning. 164bhp, 125.25btq. shouldn't i be making more though???

You should make your own thread in the Members' Rides section. List your mods and post some more pics.

dyno numbers?!!

I don't know what percentage dynos are off by but here's the sheet. base hp peaked at 164.01 while torque was 125.25 at the wwheels. i dont want to list it in the rides yet because the paint is bad... the body is a gsr but the engine is a B18C with matching head. you know alot of ppl call the intake a whale dick, have they seen one and that's why they say that?








i was wondering about ecu options though, cuz for sure i'm getting the skunk2 IM, plus some pullies

oh sorry, i'm in Norfolk, va.. Where is the members ride section??? Also I know the difference between the R ecu and the GSR ecu is one number in the programming. ALso I was reading through the post to find more info but came up short on info for which is the best way to upgrade my ecu. I want to be able to tune it but don't want to spend too much on an aem/apex'i/ skunk2 system. I'm already running a wideband setup so I basically need the stand alone. I don't really trust piggy-back systems because..... well you know.
