Hello Peeps! New member of CI here! Name's Ben and I've actually been browsing CI for quite some time now, finally decided to join. A bit about myself, I was born in Providence, Rhode Island and moved to Columbus, Ohio around June of 09'.

Had an EJ1 which I sold maybe 8 months ago? Plan was to get a 96-00' Civic DX or HX, (I'm not at all a fan of moon/sunroof or any sort of option on roofs lol and I prefer roll-up windows or any kind of manual function), to eventually trade for a DC. Had 3K saved up and figure I'd just jump straight into a DC in which I spent 2 to 3 months hunting and searching.

Did some research about DC's and instantly knew EXACTLY what DC I wanted and knew it'd take some time to find. Aside from the Type R lol, the perfect DC would be a black 5spd RS, but figure it'd be nearly impossible to find especially local so I said F*** it and would settle for a decent one. The 5spd was the only "MUST" and if the car wasn't black, it HAD to be an RS, if it wasn't an RS, it HAD to be black lol. Searched through craigslist EVERYDAY for about a month then every other day for the next two months, even had my little sister search for me haha. To make a long story short, I found one titled "98 Acura Integra LS", but the guy didn't have pictures posted so I called/texted, left messages, yada yada. The guy finally responded to my texts with pictures! It was black! Went to his place, checked out the car and didn't even think to look at the ROOF!!!! JACKPOT!! It was an RS!!! The car being a 98' was just icing on the cake hahaha, bought the damn car and drove her home, got a ticket that day too, but oh well.

Some of you guys are probably thinking to yourself, "Why is this dude so hyped about an RS?" haha. All I can say is...it's special haha.

The car came with a TORN UP driver seat, looked it it somehow survived World War II (seats were tan leather btw, yuck!), cracked windshield, a few missing interior panels, driver window didn't roll up all the way, and many other flaws. Glad to say that I replace the seats with GSR's, got the windshield and driver window fixed, still missing some interior panels, but will get those soon enough.

Since the car is my DD, I don't plan on a major makeover unless I get a deal lol. If I were to do a swap, it'd either be a B20, H22 or a K series motor. Plans for now consist of Skunk2 camber kit, control arms, rear brace bar (don't know the actual name) and trail arm bushings.

Enough of my talking (typing), here are some PICS! Pics were taken with my phone, better quality pics to come!

When I got her home;

Then;

Then;

And the car under MAJOR (Did I mention major? lol) construction.

How's that for an introduction? haha

Thanks Thanks...$2300 macaroos. Interior isn't anything special as it has no carpet (will get soon), missing a few panels, and some panels are tan. All seats and dash are clean though haha.

205/45/16. Previous owner said the car is lowered on H&R springs. No rub issues what so ever.

now thats what im talking about!

^^ and throw in an engine bay shot!
Engine bay is not even picture worthy. Though, I plan to pull the engine and paint the bay whenever I decide to take a quarter off school.

More of the MKIII?
Woah! Didn't think anyone here would be interested in the Supra especially since it's not the "round" body style haha, most honda guys I've encountered don't even know about the MKIII. :crazy:

The second pic of it is actually how the car looks now, engine's getting rebuilt.

interior pics?
Thanks. RS FTW! Safe she'll be. I'll take some interior pics in the noon.
