New Cat needing Clarification

Sup teg's, I just needed to know the diff between 98 spec ITR cams and 00-01 spec ITR cams. Will DC5 ITR cams drop into a grs head? And lastly, who sells the damn thing at a descent price. :???:

1998 Type R cams and 2000-01 Type R cams identical except for one area. The intake cam for the 00-01 Type R's has 3 degrees longer duration. 243 vs. 240.

DC5R cams will not fit into a GSR head. Two totally diffrent Vtec's.

Sure you can, why wouldn't you be able to? They both are B series.

You can't swap DC5 parts with DC2 parts. DC5 is a K series and the DC2 is a B series, just in case you didn't know.

K-Series engines are the new Vtec found in the RSX, Civic SI, TSX, and the new CRV. They RSX-S has i-Vtec and is Hondas newest way to make power down low. It has a Variable Intake camshaft timing. So in other words it is electronicly controled adjustable cam gears.
