New 1/4 mile times after gutting my interior.

First, I had to remove my roof liner to have my rear washer nozzle shaved. Then....
my rear panels, to have some bodywork done. Then....
my carpet, because a sunroof drain tube clogged and the car got flooded.
So after all that, all I had in my car was the driver seat, driver's floor mat, the center console, and the driver side visor.
I had to go to the track while my car was like this!
My 3 best runs:
14.61@98 (2.31 60')
14.64@98.6 (2.37 60')
14.67@98.6 (2.31 60')

I got my 60' time below a 2.33 for the first time ever tonight, my best was a 2.26! But I "only" ran a 14.64@96.6 on that run. I still have my fat fives on the car with Sumitomo HTR+ tires (all season tires). My best times were with the front tires at 30 psi. I dropped them later on to 25 psi, but it didn't help me any :what: .
So close to 14.5's....oh well. I'm looking forward to putting my car back together tomorrow. Putting the rims on, too. The car's pretty darn loud with nothing inside it, but it's also 0.4 seconds faster, haha. The best I was able to run a month ago with a full interior (but no roof liner) was a 15.01@96.2, a 2.37 60'.

New England Dragway in Epping, N.H. It's like 45 minutes from my house.

Even though I took out all that stuff, I still weigh a little more than the average Teg would because of all the Dynamat I have in the doors, on the rear body panels and on the floor.

Way more than that.
15.0 with everything but the roof liner. Full interior, but no roof liner.
14.6 with nothing but driver seat, mat, visor and center console.. No roof liner, no rear panels, no passenger or rear seat, no spare/jack/tools, ect ect ect...

good runs! :thumbs up those tires are crap though. you could take alot off your 60 foot with a good tire.

Yeah, these Sumitomo's spun off the line more than my Falken ZE 502's did. But I didn't buy them for dragging, their my non-summertime tires because I don't use my SSR rims in the winter. I get less wheel hop with the 195/55 tires on my fat fives than I do with the 205/45's I have on my 16 inch SSR rims because of the bigger sidewall. So I do prefer to use them at the track. My SSR's have BF Goodrich g-Force sport's on them, we'll see how they do next time I'm at the track, maybe next week. Haven't been to the track with the BF's yet.

0 guage power and ground. The blue wire is Phoenix Gold 14 guage speaker wire. There are some darker blue Phoenix Gold RCA's in there too. Some security system wiring is mixed in there too.
I'm in the middle of changing up my stereo setup, so for now it's all just chillin' under the rear seat doing nothing. All I'm actually running right now are my rear speakers (MB Quart 6 1/2's) off the deck, an Alpine 7893.
My apartment is loaded with maaad amounts of dope stereo equipment, and that's all I have in my car right now. I need a table saw and a jigsaw, dammit! Build my new setup. I've had so many projects to do this spring my head is just getting done spinning from it all, the stereo got put on the backburner.
