neutral safety switch

has anyone got around it yet?
i had a few ideas that im about to put to test.
i know few installers attempted to do a mechanical switch and few companies had a magnetic one.
right now i have a compustar RS alarm designed for a manual tranny but itsa pain in the ass to go thru the sequence every time because sometimes you run out to get somethign from your car and bam you are canceled for next morning's warm car unless you restart the car and do the lil sacred RS dance lol.

subarus have been supplied with the MT neutral safety switch starting 1993. why Honda didn't do it i have no idea.
but if anyone have a shop manual for subaru please share the layout of the switch
i work with alot of subarus and had used tha factory neutral safety switch on every single one with no problems(the tricky part is some of them are positive trigger and some are negative)

but anyway
i have a tranny apart in my garage and will see if i can make one on the tranny case to go inside tranny instead of shifter mechanical switch.whatever it is i will make it work and share with you guys later cuz im tired of gettin in a cold car in the morning.

I installed my remote start myself in my manual Teg, so I just hooked up the neutral safety switch wire (it's a DEI RS, so it's the black wire with a white stripe) to the E brake wire, so at least my car won't start unless the E brake is pulled just for backup safety since I personally never park my car in gear I don't have to worry about a NSS, but a few times when I've left my car with a mechanic the E brake hookup saved me, they always leave it in gear for some reason.

i use to have the remote start on my mazda
if i went to a carwash or mechanic and they give me the keys
i would 4get and start it up walking to it
then my car just launches forward and dies i always forgot to tell then ebrake out of gear

I haven't seen what the trans looks like on a honda, but you could find the nutral postition on the actual housing and put a sensor there. (I think you'll need 2 because there are 2 linkages)

Just an Idea. I want to put a remote start on my civic too, I just haven't gotten to it yet. lol
