If my batteries goes dead will I.lose my tune? I noticed when I installed the Desmond unit in my Ecuador it has a batteries on the unit is that the purpose for that. It looks like a watch batterie

you will not lose your tune. however you should always download and keep a copy of your tune, just in case.
