need to remove alarm!!!!!

Well i bought my car with an alarm in it already, It only came with one key pad that has like a screen and a buch of setting. The kid also put a sensor under the hood, remote start, and removed the wire under the steering colum that thieves use to jump it. ALong with teh s2k push button start. I want to get rid of this alarm becasue of the intricate key pad and the remote start. Iv been locked out of my car for almost a day because the keypad in my pocket changes setting and stuff and messes everything up. Any one think they can help or give any advice on where i should go.????

see if like a local electronics/alarm shop can do it...best buy or circuit city can prolly take it out

why dont you have a alarm shop look at it and see if they can fix it ... go to a code alarm dealer they might fix it for free ... i know with viper you could go to any viper dealer and they would fix it for free ... or just find the alarm brain and unplug all the wires ... i done it to dei alarms and it did not affect the car starting after un plugging the brain .. if the car dose not start then plug the wires back in the brain and start you car up and go the a local ship and have them rip it out ... lol ... personaly just rip that shit out your self .. but a word of advice its good to have some sort of alarm on your teg !

yea im trying to unistall this one to get a viper alarm because i cant stand having one key pad. And having so many friggin buttons and settings on it make it impossible to carry. Every time its in my pocket it changes shit and i can figure it out.

trust me you can get another remore from a code alarm dealer ... most likely you can get that alarm reprogramed and save money ... spend you money on proformance parts .. i meen its nice to have an alram but why spend money to rip one out and put a new one in ... may be you got a faulty remote

nah its not faulty or anything like that it just has alot of differnt settings and frequencies and all that bull. its a really complicated alarm and i cant stand the key pad. I just want 2 normal like 3 button key pads with no screeen. plain and simple

if you go to best buy or frys, purchase and alarm then when they install it they will remove the old alarm when they put the new one in. I have had 2 alarms installed on cars that already had alarms (either not working or cheap) and they didn't charge anything extra to put the new alarm in just because the car already had an alarm.

if its a code alarm most likely you should be able to get a simple remote for it to .. i know with viper alarms you can get a simple remote if you dont like the lcd pager remote .. not shore about code alarm but they should have a simple remote ... check out a code alarm dealer
