Ok so ive decided that im going with hondata s300. i found one on ebay for 595. so if i get that will it be hard to install into the ecu? i dont have to solder anything do i? im not putting it in personally but im just trying to figure it how it works. it also says it reccomends using a plx wideband. why is this? should i also get the plx egt?

The ECU needs to be EPROM "socketed" to accept the S300. It does require soldering.

The PLX wideband is a great tuning device. It allows for accurate measurement, display and datalogging of accurate A/F ratio feedback. These work great for self-tuning and are also a good safety measure to make sure your fuel corrections don't get out of control.

A/F Ratios gauges that run off of factory narrowband o2 sensors are not good for tuning or accuracy. They are little more than a bunch of colorful lights that flash.
