Need Some Help- External Wastegate/Blow Off Valve Vacuum Ports

Hey guys & girls, I need some help hooking up my blow off valve and external wastegate.
I'm a little confused because all of the setup's i've found while searching.. well are a little different then mine.

First thing's first. The blow off valve has two vacuum ports on it. One is bigger then the other and above the smaller one. Do I hook both of these up to a vacuum source?

Secondly- my external wastegate! The wastegate has two parts, the top obviously unbolts so that you can change out the spring. Each part, the top and the bottom, has a hole on it. Now I have little vacuum hose fittings that came with it. All the setup's I have seen regarding them, has included a boost controller- I am not running one at all. The setup's I have seen show the bottom port going to the boost controller, and the top port just being open to the atmosphere.

Any suggestions for this for me, not running a boost controller?

Thanks in advance. :thumbs up

Blow off valves usually have one source for a vacuum line?... I tee'd that into 1 of the lines going into the throttle body. Then I also Tee'd my Wastegate into that same line. Works just fine for me...

I know they usually have one source.. but mine has two.. hence the question..

You see the little port there on the bottom? I'm not sure what to do here.

Which wastegate port did you go to? Does yours have two? Did you leave the top one open like i've been seeing?

Thanks in advance.

top one is to adjust the loudness and quietness of the bov and the bottom one is vacuum

The one sticking out the top is a bolt, not a port, and that would be to adjust the sound of the BOV.

Are you saying I only need to hook to the bottom one, or were you just confused about the one up top?
The two ports sticking out the left side are the only ones on it, and the ones i'm wondering about.

Thanks for replying Jabes.

I know on my precision wastegate the top port is left open unless you hook a boost controller to it, the other port is your vaccum source

oh okay thought you were confused and thought the one on the top was a port too, I only see one port on the left side. maybe I'm missing something?

Josh, thank you! That's what I had thought.

Jabes, the top port is on the purple half. The second port is on the bottom shiny half. It's angled downward diagonally.

I figured out what the bottom port goes to. :thumbs up

The smaller nipple on the cast aluminum body of the BOV may be spliced into the turbo outlet pipe or into the line between the turbo and wastgate actuator. Use the T-connector supplied. This connects to pressure even when the other line has vacuum. This will activate the BOV faster by applying pressure under the valve seat.
And here is a better picture for those who were confused what I was referring to.

I just figured I would follow this up with the answer just incase anyone else needed to search for it.
