6 disk oem cd changer
pros= very anti theft deterant, 6 disk changer in trunk
cons=looks stock (boring) have to go in trunk to change disks

aftermarket cd stereo
pros looks better can change disks in side of car
cons = no more disk changer

yea i wouldnt want to go to the trunk to change cds, but then again who listens to more than 6 cds in a day?

if you want the stock code call your acura dealer and give them the serial # on the back of the player

I agree. I would always be forgetting which CD's I had back there, and what order they were in. I've never been into CD changers. I've had the chance for years to buy one at dealer cost and get it installed for free because I can do it myself, and I never cared to get one. I'd rather just throw a CD into the deck, whicever type of music I was in the mood to listen to at the time, rather than waste time shuffling through a 6 or 12 disc changer, hoping to find something I want to hear because, like I said, I forget what's back there. I guess for some people CD changers work for them, but to me using one would be a frustrating hassle.

Just get a MP3/CD Player and burn all your music to one cd. That's what I did and I got like 180 songs on one CD because they're MP3's and I have had the same CD in there for about 2 weeks.

a.k.a. crabs!
i just have 2 CD cases that ill just put 2 or 3 CDs in each and then keep it in the pocket of the door. when i dont feel like listening to a CD anymore ill just switch it and then take it into the house when i get home. then bring out a new one next time i go out. seems to work for me. or you can just keep them in one of those things you put on your visor but personally i cant stand them things.

Yeah, I'm kinda the same way. I own almost 200 CD's, but I only keep a 24 disc CD book in my car, and sometimes I bring it in the house for a while and just bring a single CD out to the car. When I'm done with it, bring it back inside and take out a different one. That way if your car get broken into/stolen, you only lose 1 CD (but you can tell the insurance company otherwise  ). I don't know why, but so many people I know feel the need to have every single CD they own with them in the car at all times, and buy those gigantic 200-250 count CD books. When their car gets broken into, they're completeley FU**ED! Thousands of bucks, gone. My 24 disc book slides right up underneath the passenger seat perfectly, where you gonna hide that 250 ct. monster book!

this is off topic...but how do you burn like 100+ songs on to one cd?

now back to the topic:

yes go with the aftermarket one... aftermarket looks good(like stated above)...and yea whos gonna listen to 6 CD's in one day and its a hassle to go to the trunk and change the stupid CD's... MP3/CD Player (Alpine "any model thats MP3/CD")<=====thats my suggestion for an after market deck
