Need help with exhaust choice

I was going to buy the skunk 2 mega power exhaust for my 1992 Acura integra when someone told me not to run it and that's it wud through a valve... Am I safe to run a skunk 2 exhaust?...

Never heard of any exhaust causing people to lose or burn valves, short of no exhaust.
