CTR is Civic Type R

LSD's are good because it transfers power to both wheels. Also around curves it sences that the inside tire starts slipping and transfers power to the outside wheel to make turns faster and easier. slikk is right about the trans part. Most likely in a manual the clutch will go first unless you grind a lot of gears then the trans will go first. In an automatic there is no clutch so the trans is the only think to go.

-I've never heard of FITV
-EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation
-VAFC = VTEC Air Fuel Controller (It's made by Apexi) The "2" part just means it's the 2nd edition or version of it.

A knock sensor senses knock, it's on the backside of youe engine. Your engine knocks when you put gas in it that is of a lower octane rating than the engine requires, or if the gas is very poor quality/old.

MAP = Manifold Air Pressure (exhaust manifold, aka, header)
I think from here you can figure out what a MAP sensor does. :)

My clutch crapped out before the trans, clutch lasted about 260k miles. A lot of cars don't last as long as that clutch.

Also nobody said
