My name is Jesse. I live in Kansas and have spent the last few years of my life driving a grand am gt...
I'm in the market for a used car for under 6k. It needs to be my dd and be able to be modded to produce around 250 hp.
I have done some research on cars for this price that fit my needs. It appears that a vtec integra will be perfect for me. but that said all my background with cars is with GM cars so I have no idea what engine I should look for.
So my questions are as follows...
1. Is the b18c1 the best engine to be modded and daily driven at 250 hp?
2. Assuming I bought a b18c1 integra with 100k miles will 1k cash get me to 250 hp (at the crank)?
2a can someone give me a link to a build like that if one exists?
3. The b18c1 seems bullet proof. Almost everything I have read about them indicates the only way these things break is people applying to much boost with out supporting mods, crashing them, and not tuning them after serious mods. Em I right on this?
Thanks for reading this. I have been creeping on this forum for a few days now and most of you seem like cool laid back honda lovers well versed in the art of making sleepers.
