need help asap

its been a while since i posted here but i need help.
im looking for a tranny for my car cause myne went in it. its a 92 acura integra rs 1.8 L and was wondering about prices for tranny's. i went to some junk yards and they told me only a 92-93 will work with it.

so i was wondering because if its gonna be expensive i just might do a b-16 engine swap that comes with the tranny.

they lied, any 90-93 b series cable tranny would fit...ls tranny's are fairly cheap...b16 trannies around here are bout $350 or so...either way most of the trannies wont be over $400 unless u get one with lsd

most of the b16 trannies grinds 3rd gear at high rpm's i've heard with gm syncromesh it would go away, but if you want to improve your acceleration your better off with the short geared ys1,s1 or j1 that come on integra xsi's and such

sorry for the long post, lol...if your considering a swap dont go with the b16a , you'll be much happier with the b18c1 trust me,,,you'll be happier in the long run

i got my s1 short gear for i think 400. im using redline 10w-30 oil with it, no grinds =D
