Need Help Adjusting Clutch

Prozon

Hey kids,

I need some help adjusting the clutch on my Integra. It seems to work just fine, but it engages late. (The pedal has to come 3/4 of the way up before it actually starts to do anything. I've adjusted the cable at the transmission but it's not changing anything.

Is there another spot for adjustment that would allow me to change where the clutch pedal engages it?

Thanks in advance.

First question? Is this a old clutch or new clutch? IF u have adjusted the clutch cable and nothing has gotten better u flat out need a new clutch and pressure plat. It sounds to me that ur pressure plat is old and worn out. There are no other ways to adjust ur clutch.

It is a brand new clutch, stage 3 upgraded for my turbo. It has less then 2000 miles on it.
My old clutch was the same exact way and it was in good condition, both the clutch and pressure plate.

The new clutch was broken in correctly and driven easy.
That should not be an issue.

I'm stumped on that one. Mabe try replacing the cable it self. It could be stretched out to the point that it won't adjust any more. That's all I can think of.

While adjusting the knob it just kind of made the pedal more firm.
If it's for sure a cable problem, i'll probably just live with it. It's not worth putting money into right now because it works just fine, I just don't like the position of engagement. (Or would that be disengagement?)

Is the cable old? If so, it's probably stretched out some over the years. If you need, I have a brand new Exedy clutch cable in my garage somewhere. I bought 2 a while back when my clutch cable snapped. I was saving it for a spare, but if you need it we can work out a deal.
