need big help!!

got a 90 integra ls..
the starter was acting up so i rewired it manually with two wires for a while (a wire from the solenoid and another from the battery.. made to 2 wires touch and it would start the starter)

it worked fine for a while.. did the valve adjustment and the starter stooped working.. u could push start the car but starter didnt work.. i tried starting the other day with the wires and the cluster started going crazy.. now, the turn signals, brake light, and high beam light stay on.. it wont push start nymore either.. took the cluster out and it smelt burnt..

first question.. could the bad cluster be a reason y i cant push start it nymore??

any1 have ides where i can start wiring wise to figure out what happen??

3 major things that r wrong..

the check engine light does not turn on nymore, i dont hear the fuel pump prime or the main fuel relay click, and the starter does nuttin (even if u try touch the solenoid to the power source manually, its a brand new starter)

did you check all the fuses. (easiest step)

get a new starter.

If you have a short some where you have to find it. I think you just have to go through all the wiring and check them and and make sure non is expose if some are then re-tape them with electrical tape
