Ok.. so I'm overdue for replacing my timing belt. No way in HELL am I going to pay for the installation from Acura.. they want $913 bucks. ... especially when I can do it myself. (yes... I know.. a girl.. but I can.. so HA!)

Anyone got some brands they trust or should i buy the belt from acura's site direct for 71 bucks?

Should I get the belt alone or a kit with tensioner?

PLEASE HELP!

^the reason its so expensive is because they replace the water pump too... which i have been told you should always do with the timing belt and requires a special tool to do...(not 100% positive on that) and i would highly reccomend buying from acura...you get what you pay for... you shouldnt need the tensioner...

ur best bet is the fine a performance shop that dose motors and ask them if they can put one on for less than that and 900 bucks thats way to much at the most i pay was 300

well before i built my motor, i changed my timing belt, then like 5000 miles later i tore down my motor and now i have a greddy timing belt, so i have an oem timing belt with only 5k on it, pm me with an offer if you want, or pictures or something
