does the alternator have any thing to do with wasting gas?:???:




i dono i think its that or my distributor cap or sumthing ever since my last tune up my car has been wasting gas alot..... =\

do a tune up: cap/rotor/wires/plugs..fuel filter/air filter/o2 sensor and you will get better gas mileage, i guarantee it

the alternator should have nothin to do with you gas mileage... how do you usually drive?

did you change your fuel filter when you did your last tune up? I had a friend install the washers on the fuel filter wrong and his shit was leakin gas all over the place. you could have a small leak there causing you to seem like you are getting bad gas mileage.
