Best thing to do here is baby steps. Don't always jump to conclusions that the motor is caked. You should take off the door panel and clean the entire window really well. Also, clean up the tracks that the window runs along...they get really gunked up pretty easily and will cause the window to slow down or stop moving. You will not be able to use the window lift motor from the passenger side. This part is sold as Front Left, Front Right, and Rear Left/Right if you have a DB.

start by greasing the track and pray that its all you have to do. removing and reinstalling a window regulator isnt a fun process. I would also suggest that if your looking for longterm car use, to buy a factory new regulator if and when it comes to that. the problem with the junk yard parts is you never know what the condition may be, trust me, i actually work for a junk yard, lol..

You can't replace your sunroof motor, but have to replace the whole assembly, including the sunroof glass and everything included with it. If you do get caught with your roof open, if you check your manual you'll find out that you can close it with one of the tools included in your tool kit.
