my tweeters

what do you guys think of my tweeters? they were already in my car when i bought it. the drivers side is pulling away from the door panel slightly

thier in the wrong place ...if you take off your door panel and look at the back of it .... up top thier should be a cut out for where the factory tweeter should go all you have to do is cut it out with a box cutter ... its very simple to do ... you cant miss the spot its right near the door handel .. but hay since yours are allready cut out thier is no point of changing the spot now ... unless you go witha 3 way speaker system ... just use some gule and fix the falling off tweeter ..

yeah i did notice they werent in the right place. but i dont think itll make too much of a difference in sound will it? and actually... i dont even know if they work. how can i tell? ive tried sticking my head by them but it didnt seem to tell me much lol. but besides all that... do they look good? they kinda stick out pretty far but i dont think they look all that bad. do they? lol

It propbably will make a difference in the sound. I thought all the third gen's have the tweeter built in from the factory?

not all of them .... i dont have tweeters in my 3 gen ... but i will have them in soon

i got factory tweeters too i thought they all came with them until i saw my friends rs which had none or pretty much ne thing else for that matter lol

I am a little anal about the way stereos are ran and that to me looks like crap, I would pull them off and put them in the right place. Find some more door panels and do it right. This IMO or course.

hmm odd i wonder who put the tweeters there. my stock ones are waaay further up on the door. well good luckj

i think its a waste of time and money to change them to where the stock ones go. my excuse.... its unique and different. i bet i have the only teg that has a single set of tweeters there lol. atleast i can hope that... otherwise my plan is screwed lol
