My speakers for 95 Integra RS Sedan

Hello people,

New to the forums here, but I have been browsing for a while.

I have a 1995 Integra RS Sedan and I was looking to replace my front and rear speakers. I haven't looked at my front speakers yet, but I noticed that my rear speakers are 6x9" and they look stock. I was looking around in forums and noticed that the speakers on these integras are suppose to be 6.5" all around. Has any else experienced this with their cars?

Also would 6.5" fit considering the mounting is 6x9" now.

Thanks in advance.

I believe they make brackets to convert to a 6.5. I would keep the 6x9's in the back and hook an amp up to them. Just buy good speakers like polks.

I thought hatches were 6.5" all around, and sedans were 6x9's in the back. I have 6x9's in the back of my sedan, too

I wnt to say I have 6.5's up front and another size in the back. I will confirm that size in a minute. But sedans have 6x9's in the back.

I believe they were 5 1/4. To be sure, go to crutchfields website, type in your car and they'll give you all the info you need and it will even say what speakers will fit.

ok, thanks!

EDIT: Oddly enough, 6x9" on crutchfield, says not compatible with integra sedans :/ But 5 1/4 and some 5.4" will fit front it seems

You should have another cup thingy for the driver door. What I did was cut the backs out of those things and it made another inch of room.

The issue now is that I need a cup for the driver side door or can speakers be installed without a cup? I noticed the white screw gaskets for the cup itself, anyone know if they can be used instead? Maybe for 6.5" speakers?

I'm not exactly sure. You should be able to order one or go to a junkyard to get one.
