almost forgot the question, hehe. what do you guys think this teggy started life as? i truly have no idea, i bought it with the gsr motor in there already. the car was stolen, and when it was recovered, the radio and motor were gone. so it the gsr dropped in. then i came along and bought it and am just curious as to any ideas on what it used to be. (ive been sayin LS, but i have no idea..... )

no ideas on it bein an LS or a GS? well then let me ask you this... the vtec on the gsrs kicks in at 6, right? why is my car hittin another sweet spot around 4500? it feels almost better than the vtec! is that a performance cam in there or what?

remember, i havent had the car that long, so ur guess is as good as mine...

it's funny you mention that 4500rpm thing... cuz i have the same thing... you can almost feel it.... weird eh?

ya it is really weird... i test drove about three of these, tho, and this one was really the only one where it was pronounced, the others, it just wasnt there...

naybe im biased tho! "the one i bought is the BEST!!!" lol...

Your teggy looks to be a GSR from the beggin..what is your VIN? if is says...DC2 then is a gsr....the sound of the 4500 is primary VTEC engament not somethin else....then there the second engament is louder....the primary is due to your exhaust cam... 8)

the GSR's have a two stage IM. what you feel at 4500 is the vtec kick in. at 6200 is when the second IM runner opens to alow better flow.

hadjie85: does you teg have a sunroof? I cant tell from the pics. If it doesnt then it is a RS. If does go to Carfax.com and type in your VIN number and it will tell you what the car was made as.

yeah it has a sunroof. latindc2 had me check the VIN, and it has DC2 in it so i guess that means its always been a GSR. hehe im too cheap to pay for the carfax thing.

Looks like ur car was originally a gsr because lookin at all the pictures u have the gsr seats speedometer steerin wheel door panels and ofcourse the motor....correct me if im wrong, but if it wasn't a gsr than someone did a full gsr conversion what so ever
