My heater/AC lever is weird...

I have a G3 Teg(DB7 to be exact ) and the climate control is a bit weird. The Heater/AC lever(blue to red) is awkward. It doesn't go all the way to the "red" section without force and when it does it just slowly recides back into the middle between blue and red. Is this normal?

Also -
my rear window defogger, is it normal that the top half(the 'dots') don't clear when the defogger is on? it doesn't effect much vision but i wonder if thats normal. I also noticed on really rainy days, the rear side windows fog up REALLY bad... again. is that normal for us DB owners? The help I recieve would be much appreciated.

My hot/cold lever moves stubbornly too, and it won't stay all the way hot or cold, it moves a little back towards the middle, but not as far as it sounds like yours is moving.

There aern't any rear defrost bars going through the dotted area up top, so it's not gonna defrost there.
It's normal for most cars to get foggy inside on rainy days. Hit your AC on and give it a little heat and it'll take care of it.

i think mine is stuck badly or broken lol. when i move the lever the metal rod doesnt move unless i use something flat and use force to budge it.

good to know i'm not the only one with that problem, lol. I was thinking there could be like, too much "pull" from one side, but i'm not sure. I'm a bit afraid to take apart the climate control. lol.

Also, I'm thinking of using that Rain-X Anti-fog on all my windows now, since the front windows don't seem to clear out all the way(well technically yes, all the way but like, theres still a little fog left over) and the back sides don't even clear at all. Should this fix it a bit?

I dont see why it wouldnt. Do you use your A/C when you defrost? If not, try that. Then you won't have to spend the money! lol

does anyone have the problem when there's too many people in you car talking that it fogs up your window? it bothers me. so i always roll down the window when its cold to shut everyone up so everything can defog. hahaha.

mine in the integra doesnt go all the way hot ... but it does go all the way cold so i dont care

my accord on the other hand pissed me off .... wouldnt go close to all the way cold ..... i still dont know what possesed me to buy that stupid car .... oh yeah my dad .... youre commuting and need an auto with an airbag and your civic has too many miles on it fuccccccccccck that.

lately i been toying with the idea of an s10 and hes like dont get one of those my 85 cost a lot and americans cant make anything good unless its a v8 .... i think a lot has changed between 1985 and 2000! plus i been doin my research over on s10forum.com and they really are great trucks.

oh well. I guess I can live with not having full heat.

Their is a spring back their, Thats whats pulling it back toward the center . I forget why its even their

Might even be just a loose leaver connection (see all those screwheads)
