hey, well yesterday my frend called me and said his boy wanna race me.. so he has a celica gts 03 i think and it has body kit, intake, exhaust, and i think headers he said cant remember.. but yea anyways we raced a total of 6 times and i beat him each and every time..i got him off the line at all times. he over revved during HELLA of the gears. and he misshifted alot. ahahaha. but we got 3 clean runs where he dindt mess up and i beat him by like 3-4 car lengths... damn gts are WHACK

Yeah dude, those GTS's aren't has good as they are hyped up to be. They are weird looking too. I see the Celica as Toyota's desperate attempt to keep up with the Integra/RSX

lol na i have a friend that has a GTS and hes beatin 3 GSR's, a Spec V, a 7gen SI, & 2 6th gen SI's

gsrs were either shitty drivers or they were not modded that much. or the gts was heavily modded... or maybe i just got liucky 6 times in a row.. but as for the Si's and SER... si are slow as fuckin damn near like 15.8 1/4 mile.. and ser spec v are slow ashell too with liek 15.5-8 1/4 mile

GTS's regardless are worthless for racing. I've seen so many of them in my town that have put mods on them and they are getting beat by the 99-00 Si's easily. In my opinion, they are only good for show, nor too good for racing.

I've always heard that the GTS's don't really make close to the power that is claimed and that they get beat by a lot of cars that they shouldn't. One of my friends only lost by a car length or two in his slow '91 Civic.

Yeh, I drove my friend's 2000 GT and it's hella slow. I wouldn't have expected much more out of a GTS..

This is the last year for the celica. You can mod the shit out of them and the hp rating barely go up. where as you could do the same mods to an integra and (exhaust, cai, header) spank a celica. they are very over rated.
