i just bought my first integra. already having a big problem and got screwed by the seller. i wanna get it running well because ive always loved import cars. ive been driving fords since i started driving. from ford escort GT (tranny blew), next was a 4cly mustang, another escort GT (sold it to a friend and he wrecked it, to a ford explorer (water pump blew and i sold it to the person who screwed me on my integra for $200 thinking the engine was blown).

im really here out of desperation because of the engine problems ive been having. but hopefully i can be a regular once i get my integra up and running right.

if you have an interest in giving me a hand im making in a post in the 2nd gen forums along with a link to the youtube vid of my problem. any insight is appreciated as i dont have the money to bring it to a shop (spent 2 paychecks paying for the car)

i play PS3 a lot if you wanna play COD4, RSV2, or Resistance 2, you can catch me on PSN with the same username as the forum. "Rubbahbandman"

Welcome. You didnt test drive the car before you bought it? If its really bad I think you would have noticed it before shelling out any money.

i did. but i made the mistake of not test driving it long enough. it gave me no issues until i started driving it regularly. i admit its my mistake, but now i gotta deal. i know a little about cars and i have the book but this engine problem has me stressed.

Gotcha. I understand how it is to notice problems after driving constantly for a while. I have had issues crop up like that too, like squeeky bushings and such. I'll see if I can find any info to help you in your other thread.

me too. besides this car my 2nd escort was working fine, until one day the tire started wobbling and the front tire CV axle broke in half on the highway lol. a couple days after i bought it. also had a buick once that was driving great (bought it for $200 go figure) and driving one day its shot one of the spark plugs right out the front mid-drive from orlando to miami. needless to say, its probably still sitting around on i-95 lol
