so i know that my passenger door is closed all the way. but when ever i turn left it moves the door just enough to turn on the "open door" light. it will also just come on and stay on sometimes, then ill go over a bumb and it will go off again... its not a major issue but its just really annoying. its been pretty cold here the past few days but i dont think that has anything to do with it. you guys have any ideas on what i should do?

yeah... i thought about that but i hate taking out my gauge cluster... and i do want the light to work. just not stay on all the time. i was thinking about a piece of double sided tape and a piece of paper on that. hoping that would be just wide enough

tighten the latch (silver thing that the door hooks on to when its closed) mine was loose and it did that and i just readjusted it and tightened the crap out of it and its been fine since

superglue something onto the button, or onto the door frame where it makes contact with the button.

I had the same problem on many of my cars. Those switches get worn out. it bothered me when I would arm the alarm, then it would beep once more saying that a door was left open when it really isnt. I solved it by sticking a piece of velcro to the push/popper sensor or whatever its called that knows when the door is open/closed.

Also make sure the door is closing tightly - try loosening up the silver latch on the frame of the car, sliding it inwards (towards the interior of the vehicle), and tighten it back down. This will help the door close tighter (even if it doesn't feel like it moved much, it probably moved enough to tighten it up). Also you can take off the switch and let it soak with WD-40.
