My DA will shut off when i hard brake at a stop sign

as the title says , after i replaced the fuel pump and spark plugs on my DA it now tends to shut off whenever i hard brake at a stop sign or stop light. the engine will just drop rpms and cut off , sometimes it will just drop low in rpms in like the 300ish range then go back up to the 700-800 range. i replaced the stock fuel pump with a TRE performance fuel pump which is similar to a walbro 255 one but this one came with a shorter filter sock on the end. could it be that pump doesn't get any gas when i hard brake ? or is it my plugs ? which were replaced with NGK spark plugs gapped to 1.1mm. help please and thank you.

I doubt it has anything to do with your fuel pump or plugs, especially if they have just been replaced. When you use your brakes, they are run off of a vaccum. If you sit and constantly pump your brakes while the car is running it will idle down because of the load being put on the motor. The engine shouldn't be loosing that much power to just completely shut down though. Faulty brake booster maybe. Don't quote me on that.
