My car won't start.

[The car won't start]

I believe the battery is fine? Just drained, since everything is sluggish (window, wipers, dim lights). It leads me to believe that it my alternator; assuming its not charging my battery, I took it off the car and brought it to a shop. It came out fine and left me puzzled. If its not my alternator, what can it be? The starter? Or something is slowly draining my battery. Any opinions/suggestions to help me fine the problem is greatly appreciated.

the battery is (or was) new. it's only been 2~3 weeks since I got the battery from autozone.

Hey I had the same problem too, but with my accord though. Yea I did everything like you did too, was driving one day and the battery light pops up so bought a new battery , was taking the positive terminal off, but that SOB was so old that the little terminal ring thingy snapped in half... bought a whole new positive wire cable and installed it and still no start.... bought a new alternator, still no start, then I bought another new battery and then it finally started!!! You might wanna recheck the battery you bought, might be like mines... hope if this was any help... =)

its actually very likely you bought a bad battery... some of those things are on the shelves for a LONG ass time. also check and make sure all of your lights turn off when the car is off. the glove box light is ofter overlooked.

took the battery to autozone for testing and it came out good, so they recharge it for me. the dude there said i might have a "Parasitic Battery Drain". i checked all the lighting within the car, nothing is being left on.
