so i was racing another da(i lost by the way) and when i was done i herd a little ticking sound but didnt think nothing of it. i drove my car all day the next day, and all of a sudden it starts knocking. i thought i spun a bearing so i replaced all of them and it still knocks, so my next thought is i need a new crank shaft, every one tells me to take it to a machine shop and have them fix it and then get over sized bearings. so im wondering if anyone else has any sugggestions??? plz help i cant stand not having my car

When you put new bearings in did you size them? Is it for sure a bottom end sound or is it coming from the top end by chance? Also Honda cranks are good to 1000+hp, so the odds of you needing a whole new one would be slim unless you really chewed up the journals when the bearings went out. Any pics of the old bearings?

no all the bearing where there but one was missing and i had lots of metal shaving in my oil pan, its for sure my bottom end, my oil light came on when i was racing so i think i was really low on oil

yeah only if i had the money for all that, im thinkin about just a new block if i can find one for cheap, but if i can just fix whats wrong now i would be happy with that, im just not sure whats wrong

No I am telling you, its going to be a full build wether it be all OEM or aftermarket parts if you replace the crank. You are going to end up buying Rings, Bearings, gaskets, machine shop cost, just prepare yourself. Might look into finding a good block, but even then your taking a chance by trusting someones word on their "female owned/low mileage, pulled from running automatic" engine lol.
