That video came out about a week or 2 before the election, and it had a different ending back then. Near the end when they all walk into the government building, instead of walking into the big meeting with Bush and company, they all line up to vote. The real world doesn't take Eminem seriously, that's why there was no uproar. I don't really like Eminem myself. Dr. Dre has put together a couple of good songs for him like this one, and he's a damn good rapper, but he a low life piece of shit at the same time. I mean, he's suggesting Bush, Cheney and Bin Laden all planned 9/11 together, that's an insult to my intelligence. If we went to war for oil, why is gas still $2.25 a gallon for 93 octane? Got an answer for that, MARSHALL?

I personally like the video and the song. It was done to try and get people to actually get up and vote. He clearly states he is against Bush but at the end he mentions Senator Kerry, so it was him giving his opinion which honestly most Americans are thinking but just dont want to say it. Anyways I thought Bush and Kerry were judt a couple of idiots. By the way the average profit per gallon of gas is around 60 cents. So who knows. Gas prices haven't gone down because one we are still there and in a time of war. Second all that does is justify the gas prices considering people like Bush own many oil refineries and own a portion of the oil that comes from that region of the world as well. There are many things to think about why would billionaires or millionaires at that matter want a 400,000 dollar a year job. It makes no sense except for what they do in office will become personal profit later down the road. Not many politicians really do it out of the goodness of their heart, they do it for personal gain.

Hey, it looks like somebody did give a damn about the video. Hannity and Colmes on the Fox News Channel talked about it tonight. The only thing they found offensive about the video was when Dick Cheney was croaking of a heart attack behind Bush towards the end of the video. For those of you who don't watch H & C, these two guys are like polar opposites. Hannity is a Republican, conservative and a traditionalist. Colmes is a Democrat, Liberal and Progressive. And they BOTH agreed that it was inappropriate.
Personally, I wasn't really bothered by it. I kinda chucked at it when I saw it. I mean, it's just a video, a cartoon video. I think H & C took it too seriously. I think by far the worst thing about the video is all the propaganda. Calling Bush a liar and that he 9/11 was going to happen and all that junk... I think that's way worse than showing Cheney croaking.
