so im fixing some rust on my car since i crashed it and did a 98+ front, but im wondering just a few things, like the side moldings, my car didint quite come with any, They were already bondoed and they cracked or fell since they just used sticker behind the holes and u could tell it was there. should i go get some moldings or wat is a way to shave them the right way? also the side skirts. my car is gettin painted a black pearl that i founnd where i work and was wondering if it be a good idea to paint the skirts or leave them as is. thanks

I recommend to just look for some intact moldings in a junkyard. As for the skirt, even if you paint your car black, all of the trim on the car is suppose to be slightly blacker than the paint. So don't paint the skirt and body the same color black.

^^ that way works but the correct way is weld each hole up. i prefer my stock sideskirts painted, but sense your car going to be black, it doesnt really matter.

I would put side modlings on, since I park in a tight space and needed to open my door and not worry about my paint.

Shave! Looks way better. Also do a rear wiper delete and then safe the roof squirter ;)

I like the shaved look but now that I think about doing it the right way it just seems too time consuming. Hitting the junk yard tomorrow morning, plus I still need a drivers door handle. I wanted to do a rear wiper and antenna delete but im buying a small antenna and only taking the wiper off during summer and get a ebay plug, I need it during winter. ill just deal with the squirt being there all the time i guess
