Mechanical Noise...???

Ok heres the deal. A few seconds after start up I hear a "mechanical noise" coming from the passenger side of the hood. The noise returns every half hour or so while the car is at idle.

Is this normal for an 96' LS?

well what kinda noise??? a ticking? a knock? theres really nothin over there to make nose.. you prolly need a valve adjustment

I don't know if your LS has ABS, but you may be hearing the ABS system repressurizing itself. It happens once in a while, it's normal. Is it like a humming sound?

maybe thats it.. it is like a humming noise that lasts like 2 seconds..
