Okay im going to replace top and bottom gaskets, pistons, rods, springs, valves and maybe cams. Anything else before i turbo not looking to make a pointless fwd beast just something fun for a daily driver. And dont wanna rice it out. Please help with valued input.

Whats a must or needed internals to be beefed up and whats not. I know an have seen a b16 a stock internals boosted at 8psi but i wanna be safe, ya know. Im getting a edle brock full kit turbo for free from a freind so i want to do the engine right.

I dont understand the fascination that club integra has with rebuilding engines with stock pistons. Are you going to upgrade the engine or just freshen it up? If you are spending the money and effort to rebuild the engine then YEAH BEEF IT UP! If you dont have money to upgrade then just leave it stock until you blow it up.

Okay what do u suggest beefing up? I know the springs, valves, rockers,
Cams, rods and pistons, (cam gears?) New gaskets and seals upgraded.
I want to boost it. But only like 8 pounds. Just something reliable and fun.
And to get away from all the rich kids ricer'. Moneys not so much a problem as time.

PSI isnt a goal first of all. 8psi on two different sized turbos will net different results. My suggestion to you is if you want to keep it simple and under 300hp than dont rebuild anything leave it 100% stock. I can show you where to better spend your money.

If you are bent on rebuilding the engine then pistons and rods are what you want to beef up. The head work is not required and can be done later.

Well so far u seem to know more about this stuff than me. My last build was a 72 nova. So i need all the help with my tegg build.

If the motor is healthy, meaning good cylinder compression and doesnt burn any oil then new gaskets and seals will do nothing. General maintence is all that you need depending on milage. New plugs, plug wires, cap & rotor, valve adjustment. At most look look at a new head gasket, tbelt with tensioner, water pump and ARP head studs.

Mileage is between 80and 110k dont know accurate. Okay. Ima make a list of what u said.
Any other stuff while im getting this done. I really appriciate youre help.

OK at that mileage I'd do the head gasket unless you know its been replaced. And Id use all OEM parts, especially ignition parts.

What are you looking at for a turbo kit?
What are you going to do for tuning?

Cx racing turbo T3 T04E unless my freind comes through on that edlbrock turbo.
And u dunno on tunning not sure where to go. Just moved in the area.

No everything will be brand new either cx-racing or edlebrock.
just 4grand(edle) vs 2grand(cx). Edle is new and depends if my friend actually comes through.
