Has anyone removed the leather part around the shifter? I wanna try put in my own material but not sure if just that part is removable or if it's hard to remove. Thanks!
All you need to remove is the armrest, ashtray, and lower console. Then the boot is attached to a plate underneath the lower console. Slide it off the metal prongs and you're good.
Jemel is also black, please don't use a CR bag as a boot. Precision Made Stitching is a good company for custom shift boots; I'll be snagging one of their boots when I get tired of mine.
