Manual Tranny Fluid Refill

where is the tranny fluid refill plug at? would i have to take off the speed sensor? thats the only way i know of.. hopefully theres something easier..

There is a fill whole above the drain plug. It should look just like the drain. You can use a pump to force fluid up in there from below or get a really long hosed funnel and do it from above

FYI, always pull the fill bolt first. That way you don't pull the drain plug, then not be able to the fill bolt out of the hole or snap it off or something. Then you have a perfectly good tranny with no fluid, no way to fill it and no way to get to the store to get something to get the fill bolt off with

Coo. Thanks doods. You happen to know how many quarts? I don't wanna buy too little. I'm changing oil pan gasket too.

is it the bolt slightly to the right of the CV joint? cause that what i did and i just wanted to make sure...i filled it until it started to drip out. thats all good right? (none came out of the side hole wher you check the fluid level)

i believe its 3.3 quarts...this isnt something i would reccomend without a lift or being able to get under the car and stand up, JUST because of how shitty the fill and drain plug locations are...

i actually did mine sunday night and i was like paranoid because it didnt come out of the filler check plug...the one that you check the fluid levels on. it just came out of the filler hole. next to teh cv joint
