Maintenance light on 99 integra

i have a 99 integra and the maintenance light turn on. Is this light the same thing as a engine check light and how can i turn it off? Please response because this light is annoying

no its not at all the same as check engine, if u see a check engine u shut the car off and freek out. for the maintenance light just put ur key to the "on" position (so its running just off the batt) and under ur dash right under the steering wheel (its right after the pannel ends on the right side of the steering colum) their is a little square button. hold it in till the light goes off. tada ur done

The 'maintenance required" light and the "check engine" light aern't the same.
