Main Relay question

My Acura (1990) Integra died while waiting for a light signal and doesn't want to start up again.
No check engine light came or trouble codes are flashing.
Cranks but doesn't fire up.
I pulled out the main relay to check the circuit board for cracks and or defects when I noticed that one of the connectors wasn't soldered.
Is this normal? I guess the car was running fine with it like that.
It looks like it was never soldered.
I didn't see or hear anything fall out when I pulled out the circuit board, so I don't think the solder fell off.
I am afraid of soldering it and find out later it should not be soldered.
Would appreciate the help. Thanks.

I cant help with whether that pin should be soldered or not (probably not needed to be soldered because there is no trace of any), I would like to see if you could provide more info on your car dying.

Why did you initially think the relay was the issue? Did you listen for the fuel pump and not hear it prime when you turned the key to on?

I had a da that when it was hot it would do the same as the op said my after market fuel pressure gauge would stay at 0 and fuel pump would not prime till it sat and cooled for bout an hr or so dependin on temp. Was told that a solder had a cold joint or damage to it. Never replaced it ended up sellin it but a buddy with a ef hatch had same prob with his main relay so he bypassed it put his fuel pump to a 12v powerd switch and never had to worry bout it also had a ghetto security system from then on lol.

That is supremely stupid being that there are nothing but DAs in the junkyard and most of the time you can make the main relay new again simply by melting the solder joins and letting them cool down again.

Lend the car to someone or forget to hit the switch... get into a wreck... not very smart. Fuel pump kill switches are useless security-wise as well.

It seems odd that the pin was never soldered and I would have to look at another for reference but my feeling is that if it worked all these years w/out it, it's probably good. Refresh those solder joints and throw the main relay back in.

Well he had the switch in a place that wouldnt get bumpd during driving in a spot he only knew bout. The car wouldnt start if it wasnt switchd on in first place, no fuel no start car thief not knowing were swich is punchd in face crankin over car lol.......pick and pulls and junkyards are a def answer or ebay dont think there that expensive new either, but the da main relay is behind dash I believe so its not like its open a panel find it and replace it. I was told by other da and other honda owners that it was a common problem with oem main relays a bunch were produced with defects like alot of components in many different vehicles.
