^This. The only difference is the length of the header, like after it bends and starts going underneath the car.

Im so happy, a new member spelled VTEC correctly and header is singular.

If its a Ls vtec I assume its an ls. So any ls header will work.

Which header would be the best to go with? And its lowered pretty low when i picked it up it didnt run and had to go on a flat bed rather than the dolly because it sits pretty low to the ground already

If i recall, a member here (zombiegurl) had a problem with a header for what was probably a gsr or gen3 mounting to a gen2. Something about a crossmember needing to be swapped out for it to fit?

ITR and any LS header would work.

1994 thru 1999 GSR header down pipe is to short. You can use 2000 to 2001 GSR header with no modification needed.

EDIT: Sorry I was thinking Gen 3 teg.

After some searching found this on the net.

Exhaust manifold
Question: will any b-series exhaust manifold bolt on to any b-series head?

Answer: Yes it will, the bolt patterns are identical.

Question: Will there be any fitment issues?

Answer: There may be fitment issues using a b16 manifold on a b18 block due to the length of the header. the deck height of a b16 is almost an inch shorter than the b18.
reusing your stock manifold when going LS/VTEC will work, but the 1990-91 design is even more restrictive than the 92+ design.

Question: are there any differences betwen Gen 2 and Gen 3 exhaust pipes?

Answer: YES!!! The flange is identical, as is the mounting points, but the dimensions and overall lengths are quite different.

Even between Gen2's there was a difference in the length of the Catalytic convertor (AKA Cat) and length of the A-pipe.

Yes all that can be changed afterwards, modified or custom but the flange at the head cannot and was stated that all b series have the same bolt pattern. This still leaves the question of the cross member for gen2 regarding various gen3 headers.

Nemesis-there is a clearance issue with a 4-1 design header (ITR 4-1, Hytech, etc) with the crossmember. You either need to notch the crossmember or get a traction bar(I recommend this option).
