Are GSR's equipped with LSD? I didnt think they were but I read in another forum that they were.

Yeah they are the best but are really expensive too, u might wanna get a JDM GSR tranny with lsd for like $800 which is cheaper and u can sell ur non lsd tranny for like $300.g3teg97 said:I've heard that Quaife LSDs are the best.

eh, just depends on the application and the desired results. Quaife makes helical style LSD's. KAAZ makes clutch type LSD's. The clutch type is nice because you can set the clutch plates in there in different arrangements to get different locking characteristics. the quaife is better for the front though since it allows more speed differential between the wheels. clutch type is also better for rally. when a tire is off the ground on a helical LSD, there is no force on the sun gears pushing them into there pockets, so there is no resistance and the wheels spin freely like an open diff. i use a quaife in the front of the GSX so it doesn't reduce turn-in capability and drag. But got a KAAZ with a 30/70 F/R torque split and a KAAZ rear packed for a 95% locking characteristics to get that ass end to rotate easily under powerg3teg97 said:I've heard that Quaife LSDs are the best.
